About Membership
The Keene Country Club is a member-owned, full-service private country club located in beautiful Keene, New Hampshire. Our members enjoy golf, tennis, swimming, and casual dining in attractive, comfortable surroundings. We have many membership options available, from full golf memberships to dining and social memberships to junior golf memberships for adolescents who want to take up this lifetime sport.
Golf for all skill levels
Golf enthusiasts and their guests play our challenging, well-maintained, vintage Wayne Stiles course with four sets of tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels from beginner to scratch. If you value high-quality greens and fairways, a fast pace of play, and being able to play nine or 18-holes whenever you wish without the need for tee times, you will appreciate being a member at the Keene Country Club.
We also have a fully stocked Pro Shop operated by PGA professional, Barry Pearson. Barry and his assistant pro, Eric Sandstrum can help you improve your game through individual or group lessons and video analysis.
Even when golf season ends, members have full access to the course for winter-related activities, such as sledding, snowshoeing, and cross country skiing – and in mild winters, even golf!
Tennis & Pickleball
Tennis players will enjoy our tennis courts and can play anytime during the season. Our tennis professional, Tami Vezina, is available for group and private lessons and also organizes tournaments to suit the needs of our tennis playing members.
The newly re-surfaced tennis courts include two pickleball courts - a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong.
Join in on a pickleball clinic at Keene Country Club and learn more about this paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
A relaxing swimming pool
Our large outdoor swimming pool includes a shallow children’s section and trained lifeguards provide additional peace of mind. The pool house, spacious patio, and nearby snack shack combine to make a beautiful summer’s day even more relaxing.
Immediate family and babysitters use the pool for no additional charge, but guests must sign in and pay $5.00. All group swim lessons for children are included in the membership.
Fresh seasonal dining
Members enjoy lunch and dinner, April through December at The Timberview Restaurant and Lounge, where our Executive Chef is passionate about providing creative menu options for our customers and guests. We strive to use fresh, locally grown produce and other local items whenever they are available.
Throughout the summer, diners can enjoy a great meal outdoors on the two-level deck overlooking the course or poolside on the spacious patio. Our spacious dining room and large fireplace adds warmth and romanace as the summer months begin to cool down. Regardless of the season, the Timberview staff strives to ensure you have a great dining experience!
Camaraderie
The Keene Country Club offers more than a great round of golf. It is a place to connect with friends, family, and business associates; a place for a quiet lunch or dinner or a poolside birthday party among friendly, familiar faces.
