With many golf courses languishing because of the poor weather this spring, The Keene Country Club is offering a “Test Drive” promotion so golfers and families have the opportunity to experience what a full service country club has to offer.
For a limited time, until the end of June, new members can enjoy golf and other recreational privileges for the rest of the year at half-price, without initiation fees or stock purchase requirements. The Club offers Full Family, Couples, Individual, and Young Adult membership categories.
Many improvements have been made over the last year on this historical property (one of the oldest country clubs in the country). A full renovation of the pool house is now complete, and the refurbished pool area opened over Memorial Day Weekend.
The vintage Wayne Stiles golf course is in excellent condition, and with a fleet of 50 new electric golf carts, KCC offers golfers the chance to play the challenging course without tee times. PGA Professional Barry “Pudge” Pearson and Assistant Pro CJ Konkowski operate a fully-stocked Pro Shop and offer group lessons. A junior golf camp begins in late June and extends through July.
The Club welcomes back Tennis Pro, Tami Vezina, who will offer lessons and clinics to players of all ages. The newly re-surfaced tennis courts include two pickleball courts -a sport that is sweeping the nation!
“We’ve made leaps and bounds in improving the facilities and upgrading our services over the last year.“ says newly appointed General Manager, Dan Dodge. “We want the community to tour the club, and find out what fun they can have here in their own backyard this summer!”
